Day Two
What up, peeps? Just chilling in my hotelizzle here in the burbs. The village of Westmont is awesome...it certainly rivals Auto-Mall Parkway from back home, to say the least. There, we had a Ford dealership, one for Chrysler, and one for GMC. If I walk out of my hotel and turn to the right, all I see are dealerships for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Land Rover, Lexus...you get the picture. The hotel we're in tonight is great...not a bad damn deal for $63. An ultra nice room, great entertainment areas, jacuzzi, heated pool...it's just a great hotel. I almost feel elite staying here.
Didn't do much today. Drove from the Southern part of the state to here, checked into the hotel, then went over to the grounds that my Grandpa is buried. Talk about mind blowing. I've never seen a cematary as big as this one...it went on and on for acres and acres...and I didn't even mention the mosoleum (SP?) that was easily twice the size of Edgewater Mall. It was insane...now, I'm just chillin like a villain...bought some nice liquor, ordered take out, and plan on spending some time relaxing in the pool...tomorrow...it's THE CITY.
Goodnight, friends.

Day One
Hi folks...this is me, coming to you from Mt. Vernon, IL...our stopoff on our way to the Windy City. Today's drive wasn't that bad in the least...great weather, until now...severe weather is flanking us from all sides. It isn't pretty, but it should pass us by the morning...we hope. Stopped off at Graceland, that was actually great fun, even though I was disappointed by how little of the house you actually got to see. Tomorrow morning, it's another early start. Hopefully, we'll reach the suburbs by noon, spend the night there, and then it's off to the city...stand by for the further adventures of Pauly and his redneck pal as they wreak havoc on the bit city!
